In the present day the leather is processed and tanned through a lengthy process consisting treatments with Chromium (Cr), Lead (Pb), Mercury (Hg) and other Hard Metals which are very much harmful to the Human body and also to the environment. The waste materials also contain hard metals and transported to farm lands through water and when we consume those vegetables they causes long term health risk to our body.
So, to achieve a sustainable leather product we are moving towards Vegetable Tanned leather, where the leather is processed and tanned through Leaves, Barks, Plant extracts, fruits and other plant based tanning elements. Also wherever possible the leathers are dyed with natural dyes, so that you will get a leather product which will not be harmful to your body or affect our environment. The beauty of Vegetable Tanned product is that the more you use it, it will becomes more and more royal and luxurious.
